Half way between Santa Fe and Taos, Española offers beautiful views, affordable cost of living, and premiere access to fishing, camping, river and snow sports. Candidate will teach K-6 general musicart at Chimayo and TEQ Elementary. Strong skills in general music with training in Orff, Dalcrose, Kodaly, or Music Learning Theory preferred. Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent in music education with New Mexico Teacher licensure required (many states have reciprocity, check teachnm.org for details.) Salary follows the New Mexico three tiered licensure system as specified by NMPED.
